Right, so for unreasonable reasons, I have decided to squish my 5th and 6th post on this one just ‘cause. Topic: Terminologies and UPLB survival kit
- “Sablay” - eto yung pinakasasabik nating lahat. kung ang ibang school ay graduate ang term, ang satin ay sablay; use in a sentece: uy! sumablay na pala ate/kuya mo! congrats!
- “Pigeon hall” - di ko alam kung hall ba yun o hole haha, nakalimutan ko na at ayoko nang alalahanin pa, nakakatamad mag-isip, sa pasukan nalang haha! Basta diyan kalimitan nagpapa-iwan ang mga prof ng mga papers checked/ipapasa niyo palang and shit; use in a sentence: you can get your papers at my pigeon hall/hole. P.S. Kung may kapwa upper na nagbabasa nito, please TA me kung hole ba yun o hall hahaha thanks :)
- “Upper” - dahil minsan, tinatamad din kaming sabihin ang ‘upperclassmen’; use in a sentence: may kakilala akong gwapo, upper.
- “Hell (insert measurement of time here)” - kasi hindi lang Hell Week ang uso, may Hell Day usually at ang malupit pa ang Hell Sem. Naranasan ko ‘to recently, at ayoko na siyang maranasan pa ulit.
- “Sperm Bridge” - yes, you read it right. Eto yata yung ‘Palma Bridge’. Basta yung bridge papuntang SU/F-Park. Sperm Bridge kasi amoy sperm pag gabi and other times hahaha. Gawa na rin siguro ng Sperm Tree :)
- “Animal” - hindi ito tao, kundi lugar. Ito yung AnSci. Usually sila kuyang driver ng jeep ang gumagamit nito.
Survival kit!!
- Handouts - never underestimate their power
- Umbrella - you just never know
- Extra money (lots of it!) - because on your spare time, you’re gonna want to chow down on them food chains/restaurants, admit it.
- Alcohol - and no, I am not pertaining to liquor (although it wouldn’t be too bad *wink wink*). I am talking about sanitizing your hands, people.
- Flashlight - because profs continue to give exams even without electricity.
- Fan - pamaypay to ha.
